Atlantic 1st Round Game 3: Hurricanes 121 Miracles 102

The defending NBLC champion Halifax Hurricanes swept their best-of-five Atlantic Division semi-final series against the Moncton Miracles with a 121-102 win at Moncton Coliseum on Wednesday.
CJ Washington had game-highs of 21 points and 12 boards to lead Halifax to a Game 3 triumph, while Miracle guard Korie Lucious paced the home team with 18 points.
The 'Canes shot a blistering .563% from the field compared to .414 by Moncton. Halifax also enjoyed a significant edge on the glass, 60-36 in total rebounds
Halifax jumped in front early, leading 31-25 through 12 minutes, and built its lead to 62-50 by halftime. The 'Canes effectively put the game away in the third, out-scoring Moncton 38-26, to go ahead 100-76 heading into the final quarter.
The Hurricanes advance to play the Island Storm in the best-of-seven Atlantic Division final, which gets underway on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Game 1 at the Scotiabank Centre.
