NBL CANADA RELEASE 2017-2018 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

London, Ontario - The National Basketball League of Canada officially releases the 2017-18 regular season schedule which will see the league's seventh season start on November 18, 2017.

The schdule features ten teams across two divisions, Central and Atlantic with each team playing 40 games (20 home and 20 on the road) which will run from November 18, 2017 - April 2, 2018.  

Six teams will see action opening night as last year's champs, the London Lightning will open their inaugural season on the road at the Meridian Centre against the Niagara River Lions. The league's newest team based  out of St. John's Newfoundland will start their inaugural season on the road as they visit the Eastlink Centre to take on the Island Storm and the KW Titans begin their sophmore campaign at home as they play host to the Windsor Express at The Aud in Kitchener.

St. John's Newfoundland will be added to the Central Division for just this season to keep both divisions balanced at five teams apiece.  

"We're really pleased overall with the way this year's schedule turned out particularly when you consider different factors that come into play such as venue accessibility and travel logistics.  This year's schedule takes into account all of the sutble nuances of each individual market and I think we've come up with something that a majority of our fans will enjoy."
